What Is CAR Insurance—The Products Offered

1. Individual: devoted to protecting personal and family according to needs. This insurance only protects individuals or individuals whose names are listed on the policy.

2. Group: this product provides convenience of protection to employees or members of business entities or associations with the aim of providing protection to the company from financial risks associated with the treatment of its employees or protection of creditors in the event of the debtor's death.

3. Bancassurance: the following products provide certainty of credit returns and added value of banking products or financial services. In its sales activities, bancassurance cooperates with national banks or credit card issuing institutions. Bancassurance is usually given at once to customers who make credit transactions in financial institutions such as banks and the like.

Retail Insurance: this product has several types and benefits, namely:

a. Accident Protection: provides death benefits due to accidents of up to IDR 500 million. There is also a fixed disability benefit of IDR 500 million and partial disability compensation of up to IDR 100 million.

b. Critical Illness Protection: provide compensation to the insured if diagnosed with one of the 5 types of critical illnesses such as coronary heart surgery, cancer, stroke, late-stage kidney failure, and fulminant viral hepatitis.

c. Central Asia Health Protection: providing hospital inpatient, ICU, and outpatient benefits.

d. Central Asia Life Protection: provides life protection when there is a risk of death due to illness or accident.

e. Central Asia Tropical Disease Protection: provides protection against various tropical diseases in Indonesia such as dengue fever, typhoid, and malaria.

f. Berkhat Santo Yusuf: diluncurkan oleh Uskup Agung Jakarta, Mgr. Ignatius Suharyo, pada 30 November 2013. Program ini adalah program bela rasa antar-umat Keuskupan Agung Jakarta sebagai sarana kepedulian terhadap kaum yang kecil, lemah, dan miskin.

g. Central Asia Prevensia Care: memberikan santunan rawat inap, pembedahan, rawat jalan darurat karena kecelakaan, dan meninggal dunia. Pilihan pembayaran premi bisa secara bulanan atau tahunan, yang dapat dipilih sesuai dengan kebutuhan.

h. Life Protection 20: memberikan perlindungan atas risiko meninggal akibat kecelakaan dalam masa pertanggungan sebesar 200% dari uang pertanggungan.


Micro Insurance: this insurance product prepared by CAR is intended so that all people can have insurance at affordable prices. This product has simple administration, economy, and a fast and easy claim procedure.

 There are two types of microinsurance prepared by CAR insurance, namely:


a. Si Peci: is a product of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) through the Indonesian Life Insurance Association (AAJI) to create products so that low-income people can have insurance as a protection mechanism against the financial risks faced.

b. Dengue Fever Insurance: provides compensation and treatment for dengue fever of IDR 2.5 million if the Insured is diagnosed with Dengue Fever during the coverage period.
Pension Fund: this insurance is prepared to organize a pension plan with definite contributions that guarantee the welfare of the retired participants and their families after the participant enters retirement age in accordance with the mandate of Law Number 11 of 1992 concerning Pension Funds. The Financial Institution Pension Fund (DPLK) was established on July 4, 1995 with the Decree of the Board of Directors of PT Asuransi Jiwa Central Asia Raya Number SK/DIR/323/VI/1995 approved by the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia KEP-183/KM.17/1995.

How to Pay CAR Insurance Premiums

Through BCA, Bank Mandiri, and BRI Virtual Accounts
Advanced/regular premium payment CARLINK & CARLISYA:

• Company Code: 23777.
• Policy Number(example): 11-000-0000-123456.
• Virtual Account Number: 2377711001234566 (16 digits) (5 digits of company code + 2 initial digits of policy number + 9 final digits of policy number).

Premium payment Top Up Irregular Carlink & CARLISYA:
• Company Code: 23222.
• Policy Number (example): 11-000-0000-123456.
• Virtual Account Number: 2322211001234566 (16 digits) (5 digits company code + SPAJ number).

Premium payment of New Application 3i Policy:

• Company Code: 23222.
• Policy Number (example): 90123456789.
• Virtual Account Number: 2322211001234566 (16 digits) (5 digits company code + SPAJ number).

2. Virtual Account Premium Payment through BCA, Bank Mandiri, and BRI ATMs


3. BCA

•Insert your ATM card and PIN.
• Select the 'OTHER TRANSACTIONS' Menu.
• Select the "TRANSFER" Menu.
• Select the 'TO REK BCA VIRTUAL ACCOUNT' Menu.
• Enter the BCA Virtual Account Number, select "CORRECT'. •example 2377711001234567, "TRUE" • The ATM menu will display: Virtual Account Number, Policyholder Name, Company/Product Name, and Bill.

• Check the amount of premium displayed on the screen, if it is appropriate, select "TRUE".

• The ATM menu will display a payment confirmation, if appropriate, select "YES" • Continue to complete the transaction according to the ATM machine's instructions.

4. BRI

•Insert the ATM card, PIN and press ENTER.
• Select the 'OTHER TRANSACTIONS' menu.
• Select the 'PAYMENT' menu.
• Select the "BRIVA" menu.
•Enter the policy Virtual Account number, (example): 2377711001234567 (16 digits) then select "TRUE".
• The ATM screen will show confirmation of company name, Virtual Account Number, Policyholder Name and Premium amount. If appropriate, select 'YES". Continue to complete the transaction according to the instructions of the ATM machine.
Car Insurance Application Requirements

• The insured is 21 years old to 55 years old.
• Insured children aged 15 days to 21 years.
• Prepare a photocopy of id card and attachment of health examination results if needed.
• Fill out the CAR insurance application form.

How to Claim CAR Insurance

• Submission of a claim no later than 30 days from the day/date of the incident/treatment ends/death.
• File completeness documents addressed to the nearest CAR Customer Service
• Request a receipt for the submission of the claim file.
• Claims submissions will be analyzed and acted upon

Before filing a claim, prepare the necessary documents and files. Each different claim will be different from the documents it requires.

• Photocopy of Policy.
• Photocopy of Personal Identity (KTP / Passport) of the Policy Holder and the Insured.
• Photocopy of Family Card.
• Health Claim Notification Form or Daily Cash Benefit.
• Power of Attorney.
• Doctor's Certificate regarding bodily injury or illness.
• Original Receipt & Hospital Maintenance Fee Details.
• Other supporting documents deemed necessary by the Insurer.
• Documents for claims of death due to illness/accident
• Original Policy.
• Photocopy of Personal Identity (KTP / Passport) of the Policy Holder and the Insured.
• Death Claim Notification Form.
• Power of Attorney.
• Death Certificate from the competent authority.
• Doctor's Certificate regarding the causes of death of the Insured.
• Certificate from the Police in the event of a traffic accident or events that should be suspected of a criminal element.

2. Documents for accident claims

• Photocopy of Policy.
• Photocopy of Personal Identity (KTP / Passport) of the Policy Holder and the Insured.

3. Accident Claim Notification Form.

• Power of Attorney.
• Doctor's Certificate regarding bodily injury or illness.
• Original Receipt & Rs Maintenance Fee Details.
• Other supporting documents deemed necessary by the Insurer.
• Documents for critical illness claims
• Photocopy of Policy.
• Photocopy of Personal Identity (KTP / Passport) of the Policy Holder and the Insured.

4. Critical Illness Claim Notification Form.

• Power of Attorney.
• Doctor's Certificate regarding bodily injury or illness.
• The necessary examination results are in accordance with the critical illness suffered.
• Other supporting documents deemed necessary by the Insurer.
• The claim payment process will be transferred to the policyholder's account according to the submission form, except for the death claim will be paid to the heir's account.
